  • 100% pure boar bristles. Boar is excellent for catching and holding hair for styling and setting curls. Also ideal for catching and holding hair for straightening strands in conjunction with hair straightening liquids and, many times, with the aid of a hair dryer. 
  • Ideal for fine hair.
  • Boar bristles help to distribute natural oils through the hair, as well as strip the scalp of dead hair strands. Boar bristles will create a shiny, healthy look by closing the hair strand cuticles so light is reflected.

This item is designed more for children. I purchased this item for myself as I have shorter hair. The item description does not indicate the length of this brush. I was very disappointed upon receiving it as the handle is way too short. It actually looks like a brush that a 7 year old might use. They need to describe it better and more accurately in the product description. Pros: Nice bristles, Compact Best Uses: Great just for the kids
